Day 57- Going Somewhere?
Posted by hubman38 on February 26, 2010
Yes, I realize that a passport is not necessary for us to visit Hawai’i!
Last week, I returned from my little trip and found the Hawai’i book in the throne room.
Yesterday, Veronica’s passport arrived in the mail.
Later this year, shortly after I return from being away for 2 months, she and I will celebrate 20 yrs together.
I think we’re going somewhere to celebrate!
Anyone notice our dog ‘cleaning’ the coffee table in the background?

I LOVE Hawaii!
Been there once would love to go back.
Don’t go in March it’s their rainy season.
That’s when I was there the stores were flooded…..But it was still amazing!
Happy 20 years!

Congrats on 20yrs.
When my recruiter retired from the army, he had the army move him to hawaii. That’s where his wife’s family was, and it just seemed like a good plan. He was talking to me one day about how hard his life was – get up, get kids to school, go to work, come home, take kids to the beach until night time, repeat. Weekends went like this – get up, take kids to the beach, come home for dinner. I told him to shut up.
peace…

Spin- we’d probably go in October once I got back from my time away from the family. We won’t celebrate 20 yrs until September, so October is good timing in several respects!
Dirty Side- no need to wait until the kids are gone! Maybe until they’re a little older, but gone is a while away!
Margaret- sounds like a rough life! Though I used to have a co-worker yrs ago who had lived there for a while, she said the cost of living is really high, since damn near everything needs to be shipped there.

You guys need to sneak me away in your suitcase. After these hours at work and being pulled in every which direction by everybody, and yes, this crazy winter weather, Hawaii sounds perfect! And congrats on the 20 yrs to you both!
