Playing Hooky

The last week and a half has been crazy at work, so when the opportunity presented itself to skip out of work after lunch today, I didn’t have to be told twice.

I went to a nearby state park, that although closed due to the states budget crunch is still accessible on foot.

The sun was shining, I had a good book to read and there were a few lovely young ladies to keep me company.

I can think of worse ways to spend a summer weekday afternoon!
