Self-Timer Test

A few months ago, when I first looked into getting an iPhone, a friend of mine pointed out some of the minuses in addition to the less-obvious pluses.  Two of the minuses were the absence of a self-timer for the camera and the fact that the iPhone doesn’t readily stand up, unlike my old phone.

Today she e-mailed me to tell me about an app for the iPhone that she found, FotoTimer.  I still had to find a way to prop the phone upright, but that wasn’t too difficult.

Of course I just had to take a practice shot when I had the chance this evening.  Set the phone between 2 books, select a 10 second delay [after taking off my pants, of course...] and flop on the futon downstairs….
