HNT Ouch (Retro) Edition

Last weekend Veronica took the kids and went to NY for a family function and go to Jones Beach while they were there, leaving me alone for the weekend.  Looking for something to do, our blogger friend Jess told me about the RI National Guard Open House and Airshow.  So I took the opportunity to join her and her adorable little boy for a day of aircraft watching.

Navy Blue Angels [which I missed actually seeing fly], Canadian Snowbirds, the Black Daggers Special Operations Command demonstration jump team, F-16 and F-22 fighters, assorted stunt planes, they all had me peering up into the clear blue sky for hours on end.

And a little sunburn as a result…

To add insult to injury, my scalp was sunburned too.  Nothing like a tangible reminder of my thinning hair…
