Coming home…

Veronica and I are sitting in the Seattle airport waiting for our flight home to board. We had a great five days away, but are also excited to get back home and see the kiddos again.
A highlight of the trip was that our friends Emmy and Garbonzo drove up from Portland to spend a few days with us. We’ve forged a very nice friendship with them over the last several months and it was great to meet and spend some time with them. They know the Seattle area well and served as great tour guides for us.
There was an interesting convergance of my professional and blogging lives on Friday night which I’ll try to write about on the flight home and post tomorrow…
Hope you’re all having a good weekend. We’ll be back with stories and more pictures tomorrow.
While I’m grateful for Just Me coming to my defense and telling Riff Dog that some of you visit to see pictures of me and not necessarily of Veronica, I’ll leave you with a picture of her that she texted to me while I was in a symposium during the week…

You lucky, lucky man. Your trip seemed like a great one. Seattle is one of many wonderful cities on my short list. I’ve got the train trip mapped out and planned. Now I just need the time and the cash.
