TMI Tuesday #171 Movie Edition
Posted by hubman38 on January 27, 2009
First of all, thanks to all of you who stopped by to wish me a happy birthday! I appreciate each and every one of your comments!
The story of our date with another couple on Sunday night follows TMI…
Go pay a visit to Tits for Troops! Veronica, Southern Vixen and I are all there together. What, you’re not contributing to Tits for Troops yourself? Shame on you!
Two readers took me up on my offer for a letter so that they could come up with their own lists.
- Paige de-lurked long enough to ask for letter- click here to see what she came up with. Nice to meet you, Paige!
- Spanking Barbie also asked for a letter, but hasn’t posted her list yet. [What are you waiting for? Paige had her list up on the same day!]
In the past I’ve tried to respond to reader comments with comments of my own, but have been negligent in doing so lately. I promise that I’ll do better…
And on that note, I love comments. You know the drill, you leave a comment, I respond (or at least I’ll try to!) and I’ll pay you a visit, especially if I’ve never read your blog before. Most of the blogs I regularly read I discovered that way. So don’t be shy!!!

TMI Tuesday- Movie Edition
1. What was the last movie you saw in a theater?
Darling Boy and I went to see “Bolt” around Thanksgiving. The last “grown-up” movie Veronica and I saw was “The Dark Knight” last summer. Sometime around then DB and I also saw the latest Indiana Jones movie.
2. What is your favorite movie theater snack?
Popcorn, of course! Sometimes I’ll get Twizzlers, which I only ever have at the movies
3. Have you ever snuck in ‘outside’ food into a theater?
Hell yes! Veronica selects what purse she carries based on what it can hold! At the very least, we always bring in our own drinks. Do you realize the markup on fountain drinks? It’s positively obscene!
4. Have you ever made out in a theater?
I don’t think I have. Not that I’m against the idea, just never have.
5. What is the ‘farthest’ you have gone in a theater?
Bonus (as in optional): What is one of your favorite movie sex scene?
How about Phoebe Cates getting out of the pool in “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”? Maybe not a “sex scene” in the spirit of the question, but damn…. I was 13 or 14 when that came out and that scene captured many an adolescent males fantasy. And the reality, with Judge Reinhold getting busted jerking off thinking about her! Darn, now I’m thinking of the song by The Cars that played while she was climbing out of the pool and peeling off her bikini top and can’t remember the name of the song!! Anyone?
By the way, I looked her up on imdb.com just to double check when the movie came out, and she still looks fabulous! That Kevin Kline is a lucky man!

Love your answers. You know, I think I want a letter as well. But if you give me Q or X, there will be trouble.

“Movin In Stereo” I think was the title of the song. Great movie, great scene. Even I, a 14 year old budding gay boy, appreciated that scene.
HUGS…

Great answer to the Bonus question.
“Moving in Stereo”, I believe is your answer. I didn’t know it off hand, but it bothered me so I looked it up.

I’m home today so won’t be playing but you had great answers. I can’t even remember the last movie I saw in the theater. I think it was Mama Mia with Lex. Last movie with Z? I know it’s been at least 2-3 years. I love movies though.
Feel free to give me a letter.

I love Twizzlers at the theater too. LM and I usually share them.
But I do love the fountain drinks. I can sneak anything else in (I bring my ‘big’ purse too, lololol) but I have to *buy* my fountain drink….nothing beats a big cold drink over ice. LOL

LOL at Biscuit with her backpack.

Yup..
“Movin’ In Stereo” was The Cars tune that played.
God I loved that movie.. Thanks for reminding me!
I’ll smuggle from time to time, but I’m so bad with money that I’ll tend to buy the stuff even after bloating myself with dinner BEFORE the movie!
I know, I’m sick, and I need help….
Maybe tomorrow??

Okay, I *know* that you do have a sense of decency, but that line still strikes me as very amusing.
